The increasing acquisition of crypto and the COVID-19 outbreak have advocate Banco Sella Italy to launch Bitcoin trading services
Trading through the bank’s Hype platform which acting as intermediaries to reduce the risk of security with cryptocurrency exchanges. Banks are leveraging Bitcoin’s growing interest as a safe way to transfer money internationally amid the crisis.
1.2 million Italians by now utilize Hype
Italians have used Hype Bella Stella transactions along with buy and sell Bitcoin and also pay for goods and services with cryptocurrency.
General Manager of Hype added:
“The cryptocurrency and Bitcoin market in particular continues to arouse interest, especially among the public that constitutes our customer base — by definition young and smart and who, increasingly, expect to be able to access this world through the tool that they use to manage money on a daily basis.”
Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain has gained momentum in recent months among Italian institutions. Blockchain has been used for voting in Naples and two high schools and they would record diplomas on blockchain.
Other Italian startups are joining the country’s critical stimulus
Milan-based startup Conio announced that they will be offering additional Bitcoin wallets on the Hype platform, along with buying / selling and securing digital assets.
This services do not require additional documents or Know-Your-Customer requirements in order to carry out any activities related to Bitcoin.
